AIA Utah, a Chapter of The American Institute of Architects, is the voice of the architectural profession in Utah. We are dedicated to serving our members as we advance the role of the architect, promote professional development, and enhance the built environment. Three components make up the AIA in Utah: AIA Utah and two local Sections--AIA Northern Utah and AIA Central Utah. AIA Utah, with over 535 Architect, Associate, and Allied members, is the umbrella organization, and focuses on state-wide issues and activities. We hold an annual conference and design awards program, engage in state government affairs, and develop public communications. We support professional interest groups such as the Committee on the Environment (COTE), Housing & Residentail Architecture, and Architecture for Health Care. The sections provide regular professional development programs, address community affairs issues, offer local public service, and afford opportunities for fellowship.
